First Appointment
At your first appointment, we’ll start by giving you a virtually pain free aesthetic. Then the dentist will prepare by taking a mould of your tooth, and shaving the tooth down to fit the shape of your crown. He’ll also remove any broken crowns, decay, or broken fillings. Once this is taken care of we’ll scan your tooth to get a sub millimeter image, to ensure accurate fitting of your new dental crown, which will be sent to the lab. All of our crowns are created by a specialist lab in Arizona. Our experienced team will then install a temporary crown, and color match your new crown with your teeth.
Second Appointment
Two weeks after your first appointment, you will come in to have your new ceramic crown installed. We’ll remove the temporary crown, clean your tooth, and install the new crown. After the crown is in place, the dentist will take an X-ray of your tooth to verify that the placement is correct. If there is any remaining adjustments to be made, your dentist will adjust then cement in your crown. Once you see and approve of the work that is complete, he will clean all excess cement and you will be all good to go!
